Chad Resar is a member of the firm's litigation team. Mr. Resar advises a wide range of clients on both business and personal matters. He focuses his practice in drafting and litigation including commercial, landlord/tenant and personal injury matters.  He also handles estate planning, family law, real estate and criminal matters.

Chad earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1999 and his law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2003. He is licensed to practice law in both Wisconsin and Colorado. In the course of his career, Chad has successfully tried numerous cases at trial. He was co-counsel in a recent medical malpractice case where his clients were awarded a $3.7 million jury verdict. He has also successfully prosecuted and defended actions in state courts through settlement or motion practice, resulting in the favorable termination of litigation prior to trial.

Chad's professional memberships include the Wisconsin Bar Association, the Brown County Bar Associations and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He was also admitted as a member of the American Bar Association and Association of Trial Lawyers of America in 2004.

Chad has also been an active member in the community and has been a member on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross Lakeland Chapter since 2006. Each year he donates his time and participates in Law Day at local schools.

In his spare time, Chad enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing and running. He participates in numerous road races each year and has completed seven marathons.
